Our 3rd day in Taiwan.

We woke up in the early morning, took MRT from XiMen [西门町] to TamSui [淡水]

we walked back to the old street, just found out we need to purchase the ticket and take ferry to fisherman’s wharf

Spent 1 hour there and returned to MRT station.

Time for our Dinner, so decided go to ShiLin Market

A lot of people here! Time to grab some foods to fill the tummy.

Tomorrow will be joined the Taiwan Round Island Tour for 6 days.

I wish to install the DotNetNuke V5.5 into my local machine.

My Machine Specification
Development Tool: Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
Database Tool: Microsft SQL Server 2008 R2
.NET Framework: Version 4
Operation System: Windows 7 Professional
Web Server: IIS7

on the DNN Portal installation wizard, I m not able to proceed to generate the database due to the Database User Login Failed. I m TRIPPLE checked it but still no luck.

Finally I found I need to set the Application Pool to “.NET Framework 2″ Under the IIS 7, then I solved the db user login problem.

After that, another problem come when you wish to use Ajax Control Toolkit which powered by “.NET Framework 3.5 or 4″, I need to set it back to version 4 after the DNN Portal Installation.

Our first stop, Taiwan Story Land[台湾故事馆], we departed from XiMen Station [西门町] to Taipei Station

We reached there around 12pm, most of the shops still yet to open for business.

We stopped there for 30mins and return back to XiMen.

This trip consisted of 4 persons and we spent 8 days in Taiwan.

Arrived TAO YUAN International Airport at 10pm approximately.

Another 1 hour journey from Airport to Taipei.
